MIC + VITAMIN B12:
Do not use if allergic to sulfa or lidocaine.
Lipotropics (MIC) play an essential role in the body’s use of fat and energy. The main ingredients are three essential amino acids, (Methionine, Inositol, Choline) that help to breakdown and metabolism of fat in the body. These compounds enhance the liver by increasing the flow of fats and bile from the liver and gallbladder. The addition of Vitamin B12 offers a great combination designed to boost your energy while the Lipotropics works to enhance the function of your liver so your body is transporting fat verses storing it.
Vitamin B12 injections may be necessary if you have severe neurological symptoms due to a B12 deficiency. If you do not have severe neurological symptoms, however, research suggests that oral supplementation can effectively treat B-12 deficiency
SIGNS OF B12 DEFICIENCY:
• Fatigue: Lacking Vitamin B12 means a deficiency of red cell production. By not having enough red blood cells means there’s a decrease in oxygen transport to your tissues making you feel fatigued & tired.
• Mood Changes: Vitamin B12 is required in the production of the “feel good” chemicals in your body such as serotonin and dopamine. Lacking Vitamin B12 can cause anxiety and/or depression.
• Shortness of Breath: A shortage of red blood cells and hemoglobin make it more difficult for the blood to carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body.
• Hair, Skin & Nail Problem: Without enough red blood cells your skin can look pale, your hair can turn grey prematurely and you could have a brownish-grey tint to your nails.
• Other: Vision issues, stomach discomfort, forgetfulness, & dizziness.
MIC/B12 Injections can be given weekly and contain the following:
• Methionine – acts as a lipotropic agent to aid in the reduction of body fat as well as some localized fat loss. Don’t use if allergic to sulfa.
• Inositol – can help to reduce cholesterol and aids in metabolizing of body fat.
• Choline – aids the liver in processing toxins as well as the transportation and metabolization of fat and cholesterol.
• L-Carnitine – can be used to facilitate fatty acid oxidation, aiding in the reduction of body fat, both systemically and site specifically.
• Thiamine (B1) – plays an important role in energy metabolism. Like the other B vitamins, vitamin B1 helps to support the nervous system in addition to its role in releasing energy from nutrients in food.
•Riboflavin (B2) – is essential to the proper function of the immune system and the nervous system. It helps the body build antibodies for defense against illness, and it helps to keep nerve cells intact. Vitamin B2 also helps to produce red blood cells that carry oxygen throughout the body, and it can also help to heal wounds and burns.
• Pyridoxine (B6) – can help the brain in performing its functions. It also helps the body to produce energy by the process of metabolism. The nerve cells are also controlled by vitamin b6.
• Methylcobalamin (B12) is needed to prevent pernicious anemia – a condition in which the body can’t make enough healthy red blood cells. B12 aids in the production of DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Vitamin B12 is also known to promote normal growth and development. Deficiencies in B12 have been known to cause nerve damage relating to loss of memory, poor concentration and abnormal sensations. B12 supports increased energy levels and is commonly given as injection to chronic fatigue patients.
